At the end of November, a contemplative and reflective time begins in South Tyrol: Christmas Markets are opening their doors. The smell of cookies, hot mulled wine and beautiful Christmas carols beckon our guests and locals alike to join us in the most beautiful towns of South Tyrol.

Come see the romantic Christmas ambiance from November 28 until December 21 in the snow covered alleys of Klausen. Despite the chilling cold, the romantic Christmas mood will warm your heart. Skilled artisans create objects of artistry and do not forget to grab a Christmas presents for your loved ones.
Christmas Market in Brixen
A stroll through the town of Brixen is a special treat: Seasonally decorated stalls offer handcrafted products and delicious baked goods. The cheerful melodies of Christmas carols will get you in that festive mood. Enjoy the Old Town of Brixen via a horse-drawn carriage ride! Pony rides and a traditional merry-go-round are available for the little ones. A very special treat for our guests is the nativity scene exhibit at the Episcopal Palace (Hofburg). The Christmas Market in Brixen opens its doors on November 28 until January 6 (Three King's Day/ Epiphany). Feel free to visit often.
World-famous Christmas Market in Bolzano/ Bozen
Bozen loves to celebrate during the preparations for Christmas. Mangers and Nativity scenes, hand-painted glass globes, candles and delightful tree decorations invite you to a shopping spree at the Walther Square / Waltherplatz. Warm up with hot apple cider or mulled wine served in an original Bozen Christmas cup. Snacks are plenty; cookies, stollen and gingerbread (Lebkuchen), chocolate-covered fruit and many South Tyrol desserts and dishes. Bozen Christmas Market is open from November 28 until December 23.
