Summer in the Valle Isarco/Eisacktal

Mount Plose lies above the city of Bressanone/Brixen and it’s a wonderful hiking area for the whole family. Particularly suitable for children is the hiking trail WoodyWalk. With a total length of 4 km and only 100m of difference in altitude it is perfect for little ones. Along the way there are numerous fun attractions and children’s activities. There are also some alpine huts where to stop off for refreshment.

Val di Funes/Villnöss

Nature around the Geisler/Odle peaks is almost untouched, and the landscape is beyond description. The large number of hiking trails impress with breathtaking views, and the many alpine huts serve homemade culinary delicacies.

Alpe di Villandro/Villanderer Alm

The Alpe di Villandro offers a fantastic panoramic view. The hiking trails are perfect for adults and children, for Nordic Walkers and nature lovers. A lot of trails are easily accessible also by mountain-bikers. Discover the heart of Alto Adige/Südtirol and enjoy the view over the Dolomites as well as the delicacies served in the mountain huts.

Alpe di Siusi/Seiser Alm

The Alpe di Siusi it is the largest alpine high plateau in Europe and offers a wonderful view of the surrounding Dolomites. Experience the unique natural landscape by hiking or on your mountain bike.

Val Gardena/Gröden

Val Gardena is a perfect for long hiking and mountain tours. Discover alpine landscapes with the funicular Resciesa free with our ChiusaCard. Moreover, Val Gardena is well known for the wood carving art and many artists exhibit their works in their workshops.

Cycling and mountain biking

Alto Adige/Südtirol is perfect for cyclists who want to discover our land along a multitude of trails in the valley and in the mountains. Cycling is one of the most popular summer activities in the Valle Isarco/Eisack. Discover small towns, the Franzensfeste fortress, reach the small Varna/Vahrner See, pass the Abbey of Novacella/Neustift, and get to Chiusa.
