Walking through the Isarco Valley
Magnificent hiking areas await you in the unspoilt nature of the mountains around Chiusa. For example the Vilnöss/Funes Valley, the Plose – Bressanone’s local mountain, the Villandro and Velturno Alps, the Seiser Alm, Europe's largest alpine pasture, and the Val Gardena. All dream places for wonderful hikes, pleasant walks, adventurous mountain tours and exciting via ferrata routes for the whole family. A very special time of year, which combines physical activity with culinary pleasures, in the Isarco Valley is the Törggelen season. A season that invites you to take an autumn hike through the chestnut groves and golden vineyards of the area and to enjoy traditional South Tyrolean dishes in rustic inns.
All hiking areas can be reached free of charge by bus and with your ChiusaCard, which is included in the price of your stay.
In addition, the Chiusa Tourism Association offers weekly guided hiking tours in which our guests can participate free of charge.
BIKE TOURS
Cycling through the Isarco Valley
Ride along the Isarco Valley cycle path, past golden vineyards, speed on flat trails and enjoy the breathtaking views of the Dolomites on an exciting E-Bike tour. Surrounded by mountain pastures and the beautiful Dolomites, the Isarco Valley offers the perfect setting for unforgettable E-Bike, mountain bike or racing bike adventures. If you prefer to cycle without too much effort, you can explore the picturesque mountain village, cultural attractions - such as the Fortress of Fortezza and the Abbey of Novacella - and the crystal-clear mountain lakes by E-Bike.
